The first question is a planning problem. The answer usually lives in a spreadsheet, a group text and one manager's memory. The second is a proof problem, and for most stores the honest answer is no.
A video company has an unusual advantage on the second one. Stores already have the cameras, so proof does not have to mean new hardware. So we built a scheduler that explains itself, and a time clock that can show its evidence, and we put them in one product.
