Saturday at 2 p.m. is decided on Tuesday.

Juvant Workforce drafts each store's week from your rules and each person's sales per hour worked. Your strongest sellers get peak hours first. Every shift can tell you why it is there.

The week most managers know

The schedule lives in a spreadsheet, a group text and one person's memory.

Monday

You copy last week's tab and start changing names.

Wednesday

Two time-off requests turn up in a text thread. One of them was from last month.

Thursday night

Someone would hit six days. You notice, or you don't.

Saturday, 2 p.m.

The store is full. Your best closer is off, and your newest hire is on the floor.

Next Monday

You sign a timesheet that says everyone was there. You have no way to check.

01 / Say how each store runs

Draw the day you actually need.

Set store hours, how many people each part of the day needs, and which hours are peak. Each store can have its own shape. The draft then has one job: meet that line.

Smart scheduling

Peak 0246 10am12pm2pm4pm6pm8pm

Covered all day. Every hour from 10am to 8pm meets the need you set.

02 / Set your rules once

Move a shift and the rules answer back.

Hours per day and week, days per week, rest between shifts, six-day holiday weeks. Set them for the company, then change them for a store where you need to. Try it: drag a shift onto Sunday, or add a sixth day.

03 / Generate the week

Every shift can answer two questions.

Why does this shift exist?

“5pm – 8pm peak, 3 people needed.” The shift points back at the need you set, so you can argue with the need and not the software.

Why did this person get it?

“Jordan Ellis, rank 1 of 7.” Peak hours go to your strongest sellers first. Preferred days off are kept first. When one has to give, the draft says so.

An open shift tells you who could not take it.

A gap on its own tells you very little. This one comes with its reason: seven people, each with the rule that stopped them. Then you decide what gives. Flip the switch to see what a six-day week would change.

  7. 7 Maya KapoorOn shift Sunday, 12pm – 6pm Already working

7 people checked. Nobody can take it. The draft leaves the shift open and tells you why, so you decide what gives.

04 / Publish with reasons

Time off cannot be broken. A bent rule needs a reason.

Before a week goes live, one review shows what must be fixed, what needs a reason and what you should simply know about. Try it: clear the review and publish the week.

Jordan Ellis would work 6 days this week. The limit is 5.

Stores close together should not plan apart.

Group nearby stores into a Unit, share people across them, and plan the whole group on one board. Pick a day to see who travels and why.

Then, on the floor

Know the hours on the timesheet were really worked.

Your team clocks in at the store. Time with customers is tracked on its own line. Each clock-in comes with a clip from the cameras you already have, with no new hardware. A reviewer checks it without a store visit.

Cameras are optional, and scheduling works without them. When you want proof, the proof is already on your ceiling. See verified hours
